Caruthers District Fair Association            2010 Fair - Sept 29 through Oct 2

    The Horticulture Building Houses both the local produce,  wall exhibits and the  Floriculture Exhibits.

    This exhibit is a joint process which comes to life with the hard work and dedication of many local elementary schools, Alvina Elementary Burrel Elementary, Caruthers PFC, Raisin City Elementary, Raisin City Library Association, Caruthers Ag Mechanics Department and many individual exhibitors.

    The hours of work for this building are almost unimaginable.  Collecting the produce is a very small part of the  building.  The decorative wall displays take an immense amount of time and artistic ability to bring the theme of the fair to the publics minds eye.  We salute all who dare to bring this beauty to the fair and thousands of visitors.

    The produce and wall exhibits are judged by the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Crops Club and Professor Launnie Ginn is their advisor.      

Floriculture Entrants should submit entries on Tuesday, September 28 between 9 AM 10 PM

The Building should be available for public view approximately 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 29
